I will always do my best to fulfil your needs and meet your goals, but sometimes it is best to have a few simple things written down so that we both know what is included, our responsibilities and what happens if stuff goes wrong.

These Terms and Conditions apply to all Hosting Packages and acceptance of these terms and conditions is necessary in order for Hosting Packages to be in place.

Security

Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee 100% your website will not get hacked, and therefore cannot accept liability in such an event, the parameters are simply too wide-ranging. However, I will endeavour to do my very best to safeguard your website from attacks and react quickly to high priority releases. I do hope you understand.

Uptime

Likewise, I cannot guarantee 100% uptime, but will do my best to make sure things keep running properly. If any maintenance is planned, I will communicate about this in advance.

Hosting packages do not include:

• Changes to website content, templates or themes.
• Set-up of email accounts or email clients.
• Recovery of website either due to website issues or hacking attempt.
• Maintenance of website, including core, plugins and themes.

Unless otherwise specified or agreed any work outside of this agreement will be billed at my usual hourly rate (currently £25ph).

Data Handling

Whilst performing backups and other server maintenance tasks copies may need to be downloaded of your website’s database and files. These will be deleted within a month unless you request otherwise.

Authorisation

As my customer, you have the power and ability to enter into this contract on behalf of your company or organisation.

Payment and Cancellation

Plans are to be paid annually or by monthly direct debit, and will commence once payment has been received. You can cancel Hosting Packages at any time, once a written request to cancel is received plans will cease at the end of their current annual/monthly cycle. If payments cease at any time this will be taken as a request to cancel your Hosting Packages.

I reserve the right to refuse to host any website. If hosting is already being provided I will give 30 days notice of cancellation of hosting plan and refund any time remaining.
